Most existing homes have hollow wall cavities — or fiberglass batts that have settled, shifted, or were never installed correctly. Dense-pack cellulose fills those cavities without tearing out your walls.

Dense-Pack Cellulose: The Right Way to Insulate Existing Walls

Dense-pack cellulose is installed by drilling small holes in the wall — either from the exterior (through siding) or interior (through drywall) — and blowing cellulose in at high density. At 3.5 lbs/ft³, dense-pack cellulose won't settle, won't shift, and won't leave voids. It fills the entire cavity including around wires, pipes, and blocking.

No wall tearout

Small holes are patched and painted — no drywall replacement, no major renovation.

Won't settle

Dense-pack density prevents the settling and void formation common with loose-fill fiberglass.

Air resistance

At proper density, cellulose provides meaningful air resistance in addition to thermal resistance.

Moisture buffering

Cellulose can absorb and release moisture without losing performance, reducing condensation risk.

Cavity Mapping

We locate studs, blocking, and fire stops to map each individual cavity before drilling.

Drilling

Small holes (typically 2") are drilled at the top of each cavity, or through exterior siding when preferred.

Dense-Pack Installation

Cellulose is blown in at high density (3.5 lbs/ft³) to fill each cavity.

Patching & Cleanup

Holes are plugged and patched. Interior work is ready for paint. Exterior work is patched to match siding.
