Don't Guess. Test.
Most homeowners spend thousands trying to fix comfort and energy problems without ever knowing what's actually causing them. A Home Infiltration Assessment uses building-science diagnostics to help identify what's happening — before you invest in insulation or air sealing.
What Is a Home Performance Assessment?
A Home Performance Assessment is a systematic, equipment-based evaluation of your home's building envelope — the thermal and air barriers that separate conditioned space from unconditioned space. We use professional diagnostic equipment to measure, test, and document what's actually happening inside your walls, attic, and crawlspace.
Blower Door Test
Measures total air leakage in your home and helps locate where air is escaping.
Thermal Imaging
Thermal imaging can help identify temperature anomalies associated with insulation deficiencies, air leakage, and conditions warranting further investigation when environmental conditions allow.
Moisture Evaluation
Identifies moisture conditions that may warrant further investigation.
Visual Inspection
Thorough inspection of attic, crawlspace, basement, and accessible wall cavities.
Is Your Home Telling You Something?
What You Get
Every assessment includes the following deliverables.
Written Report
A clear, plain-language report documenting what we found, what it means, and what we recommend.
Blower Door Results
Your home's measured air leakage rate (ACH50) compared to code and best-practice benchmarks.
Thermal Images
Annotated infrared photos showing temperature anomalies associated with insulation deficiencies or air leakage when conditions allow.
Prioritized Recommendations
Specific, actionable recommendations ranked by impact — so you know where to start.
Scope of Work Guidance
If you decide to move forward with insulation or air sealing, the assessment informs the scope.
